Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

Section of L-5867 - Ballyarthur, Fermoy, Co Cork

Period of Proposed Closure

From 08:00hrs Monday 31st August, 2020 to 18:00hrs Friday 11th September, 2020.

(24hr Closure)

Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate Road Resurfacing

Alternative Routes

For traffic approaching from Glanworth follow R512 to N72 and turn left towards Fermoy. At junction with R639 turn left and travel North via R639/Dublin Rd. Turn left on to L1512 and proceed onto L5867.

The above mentioned diversion is also applicable in reverse.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure during the evenings.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-131-2020, not later than 5pm on Tuesday 11th August, 2020. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
